Vocational Spotlight: Rob Betzel

Rob Betzel is a Macon Rotary member from the IT services firm of Infinity Network Solutions, Inc.

His firm looks to help small businesses that have grown to a size where they can no longer simply rely on the employee that “knows how to fix the computers” anymore or that need to scale their business faster than they can their technology team’s skills. Within technology there are so many specialized skills needed to run a small business and not everyone can afford or want to hire a large enough team to address them all.

One of the most overlooked areas of technology is the strategic planning and budgeting part that is done by a CIO in larger firms. Infinity has found its niche by not only having the highly technical team members that can install and support the equipment, software and systems a business needs but also provide consultants that can sit in a business meeting and act as a virtual CIO. Those team members can help bridge the businesses plans, needs and directions into just the right set of technologies to help support their plans.

They do all of this as a fixed monthly expense so the business knows what they are spending each month just as if they hired an entire IT department but at a scaled cost that matches the business’s size and that scales as they do. No more getting hit with unplanned invoices for those system down emergencies and no more unforeseen upgrades because the support is covered and the planning for the upgrades is done with the businesses annual budgets.

Rob and his firm have been recognized as leaders in the IT services space for over 15 years. As another local small business they also know what it feels like to try and grow and thrive and focus all of their energy in supporting their clients and helping them achieve their goals.

They can be reached at (478) 475-9500, or through the website,  www.infinitynetworks.net
