Vocational Spotlight: Ellen E. Johnson, CFRE

Ellen is President & CEO of the Navicent Health Foundation. She joined Navicent Health in 1981 working many years in administration and then as the Assistant Director of Wellness Services.  She began her career at the Foundation twenty years ago. She received her CFRE in 2011 and her Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification in 2014.  She was promoted to her current position as President in 2015 and works closely with her team and Board of Directors to transform visions into reality through philanthropy.

Ellen is active in her community, serving as a member of Rotary and Career Women’s Network.  She is a current trustee and past president of Georgia Hospital Association’s Society for Development Professionals, a past board member of the Macon Chapter of the American Red Cross and the Peach Regional Chamber of Commerce.

On a personal note, Ellen enjoys the outdoors, water skiing, scuba diving, and her book club.  Her pride and joy are her grandchildren which she enjoys spoiling!
